Preserved moss art uses real moss which has been harvested and has undergone a special preservation process to retain its texture and soft, plushy quality. The moss is then dyed or colorized in vibrant colors. My pieces are made by combining contrasting colors and textures of reindeer moss, Spanish moss, lichens, and dried flowers or flo
Preserved moss art uses real moss which has been harvested and has undergone a special preservation process to retain its texture and soft, plushy quality. The moss is then dyed or colorized in vibrant colors. My pieces are made by combining contrasting colors and textures of reindeer moss, Spanish moss, lichens, and dried flowers or flowers made from plant based materials, in order to create striking multi-dimensional art that is sure to bring a natural component to any space.

My name is Pamela Pinto and I am a preserved moss artist who lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland. My hope is that my pieces will reconnect people with their innate desire to be closer to nature when being outside is not possible. I also hope that the organic textures and vibrant colors in the art I create will evoke a
sense of tranquility and serenity on the
person viewing it.
